Seasonal employment at our pumpkin patch is PERFECT for mature high school students, college students, retired folks looking for some adventure, teachers, stay-at-home parents and anyone else who is personable, has top notch customer service skills, and is excited about pumpkin patch season!
5 weekends. One epic fall adventure. A pocket full of holiday cash. Our season is short, sweet, and seriously fun…blink and you’ll miss it! Spend your weekends surrounded by pumpkins, donuts, hay bales, and good people, then walk away with some extra spending money just in time for the holidays. Short-term commitment, long-term bragging rights (and plenty of donuts along the way).

Donut Makers
This role looks different from the rest of our crew because you’ll work inside our donut food truck. We’re known for our fresh apple cider donuts, made throughout the day in our donut food cart. It is fast paced and busy most days.
Just so you know: this role only runs for our 5-weekend season (September 26th – October 25th), a short window to fully embrace your inner donut artist!
Pumpkin patch hours are 10am to 5pm but donut making shifts fall between the hours of 7am and 6pm depending on how busy we are.
Shifts will typically be 7-8 hours and may vary based on needs but may include but not limited to: 8am to 3pm, 7am to 2pm, 9am to 4pm, 11am to 6pm .
- Use basic math and weighing skills to accurately weigh out ingredients and mix the dough
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, cut up shortening, and prepare other ingredients.
- Load the hopper and monitor our automated fryers
- Work around hot oil, industrial mixers, and fryers throughout your shift
- Sugar and bag finished donuts, sometimes nonstop during busy rushes
- Keep the van clean and sanitary and follow food safety guidelines
- Must be 18+ due to operating industrial equipment and working around hot oil
- Must be able to be on your feet all day
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs periodically and regularly lift up to 25 lbs to load hoppers with dough throughout the day
- Closed-toe shoes required; hair tied back with no loose clothing or dangling jewelry while operating equipment
- Work in close quarters (food truck) with teammates
- Clear communication is essential
- A food handler’s card is required before your first shift
