Here are some tips and tricks for visiting our pumpkin patch with kids:

• Bring a Wagon or Stroller: Feel free to bring a wagon or stroller to help transport little ones and pumpkins. However, some may not fit on the hayride, so be prepared to park it temporarily.
• Pack Snacks: While you’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks, we also have delicious donuts, refreshing slushies, light snacks, and hot dogs available to keep the kids fueled and happy.
• Pack a Change of Clothes and Shoes: Our farm can get a bit dusty or muddy, so packing an extra set of clothes and shoes for the kids is a good idea. It will make the ride home more comfortable.
• Bring Garbage Bags: Use garbage bags to store dirty clothes, shoes and pumpkins, and protect your car seats from getting dirty on the way home.
• Dress Appropriately: Check the weather forecast and dress in layers. It can be cool in the morning and warm up during the day. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen for sun protection.
• Wear Comfortable Shoes: Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are best for walking around the farm and navigating uneven terrain.
• Plan for Downtime: Kids can get tired quickly, so plan for breaks. We have plenty of seats and haybales where you can rest and enjoy a snack. Or find a quiet spot in the play area to let them play quietly.
• Keep an Eye on the Kids: Our farm is large and can be busy, so make sure to keep an eye on your kids at all times. Consider dressing them in bright colors for easy spotting.
• Bring a Camera: Capture the fun and memories with your camera or smartphone. Our pumpkin patch offers great photo opportunities!
• Review Farm Rules: Before heading out, take a moment to review our farm’s rules and guidelines. This helps ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We love animals but for safety, insurance, and health reasons we do not allow pets at our farm. Our parking lot is NOT shaded so please keep your pets safe at home rather than planning to leave them in the car. Service animals are always welcome.

Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

A service animal must be under the control of its handler. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the individual’s disability prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. 

We accept cash and card via Square (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) but as a small business, it’s extra appreciated when you use cash as it helps us cut down on credit card processing fees. Thanks in advance!

Our farm typically operates rain or shine so please plan accordingly! If we get a lot of rainy weather, we do sometimes have to stop hayrides for safety reasons and to avoid getting tractors stuck. If this happens, we will refund purchased hayride tickets.

If severe weather (thunderstorm, super heavy downpours, etc.) conditions are forecasted we will announce any closures on our voicemail, Facebook, Instagram and here so please check any of those places if you’re concerned we may be closed or give us a call.

Regardless of weather, we highly suggest everyone wears clothes and shoes that can get dirty because we are a real farm with dust, mud, hay, animals, and dirt (and playing in it all is half the fun!)

PRO-TIP:  Bring a change of clothes and shoes for the ride home AND/OR bring a garbage bag for any dirty clothes to save your car!

To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we ask all customers and party guests to please follow these farm rules:

• Be mindful of crops and watch your step to avoid damage.
• Stay home if you have COVID-19 symptoms or any other communicable illness.
• Treat fellow visitors and staff with kindness at all times.
• Do not feed animals unless approved by staff; we monitor their diet for their health.
• Drive slowly in parking areas and on farm property.
• Stay outside animal pens and do not disturb the animals.
• Keep rocks, sticks, and other items where you found them; no throwing.
• Clean up after yourself and dispose of litter properly.
• Do not climb fences, open gates, or enter restricted areas, including unmarked and staff-only areas.
• Have fun, enjoy the fresh air, and make great memories!
